Clone your own voice for narration

Record about ten seconds of your own voice. You hear it back and see if it is long enough, loud enough and clean. The recording stays on your device.

Read this out loud, in your normal voice:

I'm recording this sample in my own voice, so my videos can be narrated the way I sound.

Only record your own voice. The recording stays in your browser.

Your sample and its check appear here.

How it works

  1. Allow the microphone and read the sentence on screen for about ten seconds.
  2. Listen back and check the sample report: length, loudness and clipping.
  3. Set up your voice in the studio: you sign a release and record a short check phrase.

What the sample check looks at

  1. Length: at least 8 seconds of speech (about 10 is best).
  2. Loudness: clear enough to hear every word.
  3. Clipping: no distortion from being too close or too loud.

Questions

Can I clone someone else's voice?
No. You can only set up your own voice, or a person who signs a release through SeedViral themselves. Imitating anyone else's voice isn't allowed.
Is this recording uploaded?
No. This check stays in your browser. Your voice is only uploaded in the studio, after you sign the release.
Can I withdraw it later?
Yes. You can withdraw your voice at any time. It stops being used at once and the sample is deleted.
