Rotate video online
Turn a sideways or upside-down video the right way up, with its sound. Nothing is uploaded: the file opens in your browser and stays on your device.
Choose a video to see the result's first frame here.
How it works
- Choose a video up to 3 minutes.
- Pick 90° right, 180° or 90° left. The preview turns with it.
- Press Rotate video, keep the page open while it records, then download it.
What you get
- A 1920×1080 video rotated 90° becomes 1080×1920, with its sound.
- Videos up to 3 minutes and 500 MB. The result is never larger than 1920 pixels on its long side.
- MP4 in Safari and recent Chrome and Edge; WebM in Firefox and older Chrome. No watermark.
FAQ
Questions
- Is my file uploaded?
- No. The file is opened by your browser and processed on your device. Nothing is sent to us, and it is released when you load another file or leave the page.
- Why does it take as long as the video?
- Your browser plays the video once while it records the new file, so a 30 second clip takes about 30 seconds. Keep the page open until it finishes. Videos up to 3 minutes work.
- Which file do I get?
- An MP4 in Safari and in recent Chrome and Edge. Firefox and older Chrome save WebM, which plays in browsers, VLC and most editors. The page says which one you will get before you start.
