- Is my file uploaded?
- No. The file is opened by your browser and processed on your device. Nothing is sent to us, and it is released when you load another file or leave the page.
- Will it distort?
- A soft limiter catches anything that would clip. Very large boosts on loud recordings can still sound squashed, so try +3 or +6 dB first.
- Which file do I get?
- Audio comes back as a WAV, exact and instant in every browser. Video comes back as MP4 in Safari and recent Chrome and Edge, or WebM in Firefox and older Chrome.
